Use Monarch-X Ai in Chrome

Monarch-X Ai for Chrome sits in a side panel next to the page you are reading. It answers questions about that page, checks what it claims, and carries out web tasks for you one approved step at a time, while you watch.

What it can do

• Ask about this page. Press one button and ask a question. The readable text of the page you are on (up to 6,000 characters) is sent with your question, and the answer comes back with its dated reference and a link anyone can use to check it.
• Check what you are reading. Select a sentence, a paragraph or the whole article and press Check. Each claim is checked against live sources, exactly like Check the news on the website. Only the text you selected is sent.
• Carry out tasks you approve, step by step. Describe what you want done on the page, such as filling in a form or collecting details from a listing. Monarch-X Ai shows every step first: which field it will type into, what it will choose, which button or link it will press. You approve the whole plan or one step at a time. Each field or button is highlighted before anything happens, and a Stop button is always on screen.
• Repeat a routine. Save the steps of a task you have run once and run them again later. A saved routine runs only when you press Run and approve its steps again.
• Pre-fill a job application. Give your details once and it fills the application form from them only. You check every field, and the application is sent only when you confirm.
• Check a page for accessibility. On a site you own or may test, it lists common accessibility problems, names the element and the WCAG rule each one breaks, and says how to fix it.

Install it

It is not in the Chrome Web Store yet. This page will link to it as soon as it is published. Everything below describes how it will work.

Pin it to your toolbar

1. In Chrome, press the jigsaw-piece Extensions icon to the right of the address bar.
2. Find Monarch-X Ai and press the pin next to it. The lotus icon stays on your toolbar.
3. Press the lotus icon at any time to open the Monarch-X Ai side panel.

Connect it to your account

1. In the side panel, press Connect. A page on monarchxai.com opens.
2. Sign in there as you normally do, including two-step sign-in if you use it. The page shows a one-time code of eight letters and numbers. It works once and only for 10 minutes.
3. Paste the code into the panel (or press Send to Monarch-X Ai in Chrome on that page) and press Connect.

Your password is never typed into the extension. The connection gets its own key, which lasts 15 minutes and renews itself while you use it. You can end any connection at once under Settings → Connected devices, or press Disconnect in the panel.

What it never does

• It never reads or fills password, card number, security code, bank or identity-number fields. It does not even list them when it looks at a page.
• It never acts without your approval. Anything that submits a form, buys, sends a message, posts or deletes needs its own confirmation, and your confirmation is recorded with a dated reference.
• It never works in the background. It reads a page only when you press a button, acts only while its panel is open, and never browses on a schedule.
• It stops at sign-in pages, CAPTCHAs and payment pages. You do those yourself.
• Answers are never worked out inside your browser. Your question goes to your Monarch-X Ai account, is counted like any other question, and is stamped the same way.

What is sent to Monarch-X Ai

Only what a button you press needs: the text you selected, or the readable text of the page, or (for a task) the labels of the page's fields, buttons and links. Page addresses are sent without anything after the question mark. Form values you have typed are never read. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Connect other tools

Monarch-X Ai also works from your own systems today, with an API key from the API access page (the account owner or a team manager creates keys):

• REST API: POST https://monarchxai.com/api/v1/consensus with Authorization: Bearer <key>. The same answers, stamps and limits as the website.
• MCP server: https://monarchxai.com/mcp for tools that speak the Model Context Protocol, with three tools: a checked answer, checking a claim, and UK tax questions. Each call is one question and returns its dated reference.
